“Mia in the House with Leaves” – Puppet Theater at the Museum!

On December 12th at 3:00 PM, the “House with Leaves” Museum brings, for the first time in Albania, a puppet theater performance created especially for a memory museum.
A new educational format that intertwines history, art, and imagination to bring the past to children in a gentle, understandable, and dignified way.

The show “Mia in the House with Leaves” was prepared in collaboration with Family Art Guides, with an original script and visual elements specifically designed for our museum.

For its production:

  • We employed a part-time student from the University of Arts,
  • We used the voices of staff members as characters in the show,
  • We developed a new approach to performance for a young audience.

We are pleased to welcome, at this event, the children from the “Zyber Hallulli” Children’s Home, to whom this special premiere is dedicated.

A step further towards contemporary museology, creative education, and an inclusive approach to history.
